I close out the final podcast of 2018 in grand style as we dive into the latest in the world of sports on this edition of The JAYREELZ Podcast. The Jets have fired their coach, Todd Bowles. GM Mike McCagnan stays on board as he tries to build off the success of last years draft. Hear what I have to say about which direction the Jets should go to look for a head coach, as well as, my early thoughts on what the Giants need to do this offseason to get back to playoff contention in a loaded NFC. NFL's Final Month, MLB Winter Meetings, Heisman Trophy, NBA & NHL News

As winter slowly approaches, the sports scene heats up as I’ll dissect all that’s going on with this weeks edition of The JAYREELZ Podcast. The final quarter of the NFL season has begun and it certainly did not disappoint. Wild finishes in Miami, Oakland and Kansas City were just the start of another wacky Sunday in the NFL. Also, the Jets and Giants were both victorious on the same day in almost two years, with big contributions from their respective first round picks, Sam Darnold and Saquon Barkley. I’ll get into that and everything that took place over the weekend in Week 14 across the league. A Heisman Trophy winner has been crowned in college football. Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray gets the nod, but not without controversy. I’ll reveal what the furor was over what the QB said, and what makes for an interesting matchup with fellow nominee, Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa in the college football playoff on December 29th. The MLB Winter Meetings commence in Las Vegas today. I’ll share what to possibly expect as we may see some big moves take place as the Hot Stove will be sure to cook up a lot of rumors over the next few days. Steelers Sliding, NFL Week 13 Review. NCAA FB Final Four. NY Mets: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly. NBA & NHL News

The final month of 2018 starts off with a bang in the world of sports as yours truly has it all covered on this weeks edition of The JAYREELZ Podcast. The Jets season has reached its’ nadir, squandering a fourth quarter lead en route to their sixth straight loss at Tennessee. Who’s to blame for this recent disaster? Will Sam Darnold play again this year? Is Todd Bowles coaching his way out of NY? Will Gang Green win another game the rest of the way? The Giants almost squandered a 10 point lead with less than two minutes remaining but held on in OT to upset the Bears at home. Is Eli Manning playing his final few games in a Giant uniform? What about Odell Beckham’s comments after he didn’t stretch out for the ball during an onside kick? I’ll get into all of that, AND, the debacle in Pittsburgh as the Steelers gagged a double digit lead in the second half at home on primetime vs. the Chargers. I’ll call out what went wrong, who were the scapegoats and why there’s no chance that the Black and Gold will secure a first round bye. Plus, the rest of the Week 13 slate in the NFL. There was another wild finish to an Alabama-Georgia college football championship, this time for the conference as the Crimson Tide comeback yet again, to break the hearts of the bulldogs 35-28. I’ll delve into the biggest play of the game and set our sights on the final four to determine who’ll play for the National Championship on January 7th. The Mets have put themselves on the back page the past week. I’ll dissect their front office and coaching staff upgrade, the major trade that brought Robinson Cano & Edwin Diaz to NY and look into my crystal ball for a possible not so pleasant immediate future regarding personnel on this current roster. I’ll also touch on some NBA & NHL news and some information regarding my next podcast. NFL Week 3/Jets/Giants, Yanks/MLB's Final Week, NBA News, Tiger Woods

As we hit the homestretch of September, the sports landscape continues to stay on fire. I’ll have it all covered on this weeks edition of The JAYREELZ Podcast. The Jets suffered a tough loss in Cleveland as the Browns win their first game in almost two years. While the Giants get in the win column with a solid effort down in Houston vs. the Texans. You’ll get all of the analysis of both games, with a trip around the league in another wild and wacky Week 3 in the NFL! The Yankees have concluded their regular season schedule at home. Despite a final homestand record of 5-4, there are plenty of question marks and doubt surrounding this team as it heads into October. There’ll be hot takes abound with the Bombers, plus all of the up to the minute pennant race talk throughout the MLB. Minnesota Timberwolves G/F Jimmy Butler has been the flavor of the week in the NBA and he’d like to play in New York (yes, even the Brooklyn Nets are on the list) Hear my thoughts on the free agent to be next year and whether or not he’s a good fit for the Knicks or Nets. Finally, Tiger Woods has made it back to the top. No, not at a major tournament, but nevertheless, he won the Tour Championship to claim his 80th victory in his illustrious career. What does this mean moving forward? Time will tell, but I have a comment on the possibility of what may be in store for Tiger in 2019. Closing out the month of August in grand style on the latest episode of The JAYREELZ Podcast. The Yankees broke out the brooms in Baltimore as they swept a four game series vs. the Orioles. In the process, they've made strides in the AL East as they're currently six games back (five in the loss column) of the first place Boston Red Sox. Can the Yankees continue to climb in the standings and catch their archrivals? I'll break down their chances as the Bombers look to inch closer to the top of their division.
